Here is our first shot filming Urban Grid in Downtown Richmond Va at the 14th Street Parking Deck.

Our biggest hurdle was getting above the work zone since the solar install was a good 25+ feet above the top parking deck. We ended up mounting two cameras to the light post.

This was a 181kW Commercial System for the City of Richmond, VA.

This is a little different edit than the previous two shots. We kept the same camera angle and we used 29 frames per second.

Grace Chapman – Director of Horticulture at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden located in Richmond Virginia.

The building you see is the conservatory that houses a collection of tropical plants such as palms and orchids but we also have some beds that we change out 4 times a year to provide seasonal interest all year round.

We just completed a bedding change out. We removed our plants from our holiday display to bring in tropical for the spring.

Some of the things we are using are Black Magic Colocasia, Bromeliads and also some butterfly attracting plants.

This is a different type of display for us and I really cant wait for the visitors to come see it for themselves.

As for the name, The Continental — Giavos meant it as an homage to the former restaurant, and picked the name when the folks from Phil’s were supposed to be heading to Innsbrook. By the time Phil’s signed a lease down the block, the ink was dry on Giavos’ licenses. So he kept it, and plenty of old Phil’s pictures inside, again, meant as an homage to former owners.

The Continental Westhampton is now open at 5704 Grove Ave and ABC is on.

This is our first project filming for W. M. Jordan at Virginia State University new dorm Quad Two in Petersburg Va.

We have two camera’s onsite filming the action and the weather has been very mild this winter and its allowed the progress to come along nicely!

This movie is the first 34 days of the build and we look forward to seeing the progress each week!
